Here is the house With part of my existing temporary antenna system. To the left extending out the top of the picture is a dual band base station antenna. Extending from that mast is the temperature sensor and radiation shield for my WX station. The "Copper Cactus" J-pole is for the APRS station. The 90° bend PVC is the conduit leading to the shack.

Discone on the right is for my PCR-1000 scanner. On the ground and up against the deck are pieces and parts for my GAP Challenger vertical 2M-80M antenna and a tri-band beam.

I wish I had the presence of mind to have taken pictures during the construction but we were too busy trying to get it done that it slipped our mind.

This block of concrete is 30" on each side. The edges are about 9" deep and the 3+ inches around the post are nearly 2' deep. It took eleven 80# bags of crack resistant Quickcrete. There is 5' of post buried in the ground and concrete and about 6' above the concrete. This post will support a 40'+ tilt over, crank up tower I purchased from Wendel Cook, W4AKM.
